A Cappella Nijmegen concert program combines various musical styles to tell a story. Ambitious classical choral music from this and the previous century alongside early music, and also a special choral arrangement of a pop song. The members of Cappella Nijmegen are experienced, trained singers who prepare for each rehearsal in such a way that every member can individually sing the notes of the music being worked on during that rehearsal. Cappella Nijmegen offers the most talented singers from Nijmegen and the surrounding area the opportunity to become acquainted with a challenging, modern-classical chamber choir repertoire. Music by composers such as Escher and Schönberg, which challenges the ambitious choir singer to bring out the best in themselves.
